14-switch marine electric control panel — 327 × 285 mm panel with rocker switches for navigation lights, anchor, bilge pumps, accessories and house circuits. Three versions: sailboat with replaceable fuses, powerboat with automatic thermo-magnetic breakers, sailboat with automatic breakers.

  • 14 illuminated switches — each with engraved symbol (nav lights, anchor, horn, pumps, accessories)
  • 327 × 285 mm panel — fits standard helm console cutouts
  • Fuses (€743) vs Auto breakers (€749-887) — auto breakers reset by switch, fuses need replacement
  • Powerboat vs sailboat layouts differ in symbol selection

Why automatic breakers cost more: Reset by flipping the switch — no need to carry spares. Thermo-magnetic protection is more accurate than fuses for sensitive electronics. Standard on modern boats.

Use cases

New boat helm panel
14 switches covers almost any cruising boat — nav lights, anchor, bilge pumps, horn, blower, instruments, accessories. Single panel install vs scattered switches.
Refit upgrade
Replace old DIY switch panels with a clean, integrated 14-switch unit. Modern Airpax breakers are more reliable than aging glass fuses.
Yacht standard
This panel layout is the marine standard for 27-35 ft cruisers — what surveyors expect to see, what insurance companies recognize.

Installation guide

1
Pick sailboat vs powerboat layout
Symbol layout differs — sailboat has masthead lights, anchor, bilge; powerboat has nav lights, horn, blower, etc. Pick the layout matching your boat type.
2
Pick fuses or auto breakers
Fuses (€743): cheaper, need spare fuses on board. Auto breakers (€749-887): reset by flipping switch, no spares needed, slightly faster trip on overload.
3
Cut helm panel
327 × 285 mm rectangular cutout in helm console. Use jigsaw or rotary tool with fine blade.
4
Wire each circuit
Each switch goes to its dedicated circuit (nav lights, anchor, etc.). Use 2.5-4 mm² wire depending on load. Common negative bus on the back of the panel.
5
Test all switches
Power on. Each switch should illuminate when ON. Test each circuit's load operates correctly. Verify breakers trip on overload (if applicable).
