Whole-boat fresh water pressure system
Replaces the campground feel of a hand pump with home-style pressure water. Run two taps simultaneously, take a shower while someone is washing dishes — pick the flow rate that matches your boat's tap count.
Replacement for tired pumps
Diaphragm pumps wear over time — symptoms are short-cycling, weak flow, or constant running. Universal is a drop-in replacement for most existing Whale, Shurflo, or Jabsco pumps using 15 mm quick-fit plumbing.
24 V installation
For boats with 24 V house banks (large yachts, commercial work boats), the 18 l/min 24 V version draws only 8 A — gentler on the batteries and uses smaller-gauge wire than the 12 V high-flow version.

Installation guide

Pick the mounting location
Mount above the waterline, near (but not in) the accumulator tank. Pump can be mounted in any orientation — vertical, horizontal, or upside-down. Allow 100 mm clearance around all sides for vibration and access.

Plumb the inlet
Run 15 mm reinforced hose from the water tank to the pump's inlet (15 mm quick-fit). Install a strainer between tank and pump — keeps grit out of the diaphragm. Self-priming up to 3 m head — but lower is better.

Plumb the outlet
8 l/min and 12 l/min: 15 mm quick-fit to the cold manifold or accumulator. 18 l/min models: 3/4" male thread — use a 3/4" BSP-to-15 mm hose adapter for standard marine plumbing. Always include an accumulator after the pump to dampen pressure pulses.

Wire to the house battery
12 V models: 2.5 mm² wire minimum, 15 A fuse close to the battery, switch on the positive line. 24 V model: 1.5 mm² minimum, 10 A fuse. Run the negative directly to the battery negative or main negative bus — not the engine block.

Prime and test
Open every tap on the boat. Switch on the pump — it will run continuously until the highest tap delivers water. Close taps one by one. Pump should shut off within 2–3 seconds of the last tap closing, and stay off (no cycling) for at least 10 minutes.
