ISOTEMP SPA series marine water heater — heat-exchanger boiler that uses engine coolant + 230V mains element for hot water. 7 capacities from 15 L (compact) to 60 L (family).

  • Engine heat exchanger — water heats from engine cooling circuit while underway, FREE hot water
  • 750W 230V element — heats from shore power at marina
  • 6 bar max pressure — works with all standard marine pressure systems
  • Stainless steel tank — corrosion-proof, decade lifespan

Capacity sizing: 15-20 L = weekenders (showers + dishes), 25-30 L = mid-size cruisers, 40-60 L = live-aboard / family. Bigger = longer hot showers but more tank space + heating time.

Use cases

Cruising hot water
Engine heat-exchanger means free hot water while motoring — combines with 230V element for marina nights when engine is off. Standard marine cruising water setup.
Live-aboard standard
40-60 L tanks support daily showers for 2-4 people without depleting in one morning. 750W mains element refills hot water in 30-45 min.
Replacement install
Replaces older Quick or generic marine boilers — same plumbing pattern. Pick capacity to match or upgrade from your old unit.

Installation guide

1
Pick capacity by use
15-20 L for weekenders (one shower + dishes), 25-30 L for cruising couples, 40-60 L for live-aboard families. Bigger = longer hot showers but bigger install footprint.
2
Plan engine coolant connection
The boiler taps into engine coolant for free hot water while underway. Connect 16 mm hose to engine heat-exchanger or coolant bypass. Check engine manual for safe tap-in point.
3
Plumb the water side
Cold water in (3/8" NPT), hot water out (3/8" NPT), pressure relief valve (included). Add a check valve on cold inlet.
4
Wire the 230V element
Connect 230V mains element to shore-power circuit — usually a dedicated 3.5A breaker. Don't run element when tank is empty.
5
Test both heat sources
Engine: run engine 30 min, check hot water at tap. Mains: turn on at shore power, allow 30 min for full heat.
