Made in Italy

Modular sliding-track system for marine awnings, biminis and side curtains — lets the canvas slide smoothly along a rail rather than tug, sag or chafe in the wind.

Three components, sold individually so you can build the exact configuration your hardtop or sailing canopy needs:

  • Rail end cap (plastic) — terminates the rail and prevents the sliding plates from coming off. Pair with one cap per rail end.
  • Sliding plate — SS with U hinge — stainless steel slider with screw lock and U-shaped hinge for attaching tent poles, struts or bimini frames.
  • Sliding plate — SS with pivot lock — stainless steel slider with pivot lock for direct wall mounting of canvas eyelets, ideal for spray hoods and side curtains.

Components are designed to slide on the same standard awning rail, so you can mix and match U-hinge and pivot-lock plates on a single track.

Use cases

Bimini and hardtop awnings
Slide a bimini or sunshade smoothly along a rail — open, close or stow without removing the whole canvas. U-hinge slider takes tubular bimini struts.
Spray hoods and side curtains
Pivot-lock sliders connect directly to canvas eyelets, letting spray hoods or cockpit side curtains slide on and off the same rail used for the bimini.
Build your own configuration
Buy components individually — exact number of sliders and end caps for the rail length. Mix U-hinge and pivot-lock sliders on the same track.

Installation guide

1
Plan your rail layout
Decide where the rail will run on your hardtop, bimini frame or sailing arch. The same rail can be used for both bimini struts (U-hinge slider) and spray-hood canvases (pivot-lock slider).
2
Mount the rail
The rail itself (sold separately as a profile) is screwed or riveted to the hardtop edge or arch. Use marine sealant under fastener heads.
3
Slide on the sliders
Before fitting end caps, slide on the SS sliding plates in the order they will be used. Once an end cap is fitted you cannot add more sliders without removing it again.
4
Fit end caps
Press a plastic end cap (46.671.01) onto each end of the rail to lock the sliders in place. The caps are tight-fit — gently tap with a soft mallet if needed.
5
Attach the canvas
Connect bimini tubes or strut ends to the U-hinge sliders. Attach canvas eyelets to the pivot-lock sliders. Test the slide motion — should be smooth with no binding.
