Primary control for LEWMAR Blue Generation electric thrusters. Multi-axis function (especially on joypad models) gives total vessel control during berthing and tight manoeuvres.
Dual helm vessels
02.045.05 dual joypad enables synchronised control from two helm stations (flybridge + lower helm) — both stations can take over without re-wiring.
Retrofit upgrades
Front-mount installation works on existing dashboards with no rear access. Snap-on bezel and removable cover make for clean professional finish.

Installation guide

Plan the helm cut-out
Select a location on the dashboard within easy reach of the helm. Use the supplied template to mark the rectangular cut-out for the joystick or joypad.

Cut and prepare
Cut the dashboard along the template, deburr edges and test-fit the controller. The front-mount design needs no rear access — useful in tight dashboards.

Wire to thruster
Run the supplied control cable from the dashboard to the LEWMAR thruster's control box. Observe polarity. For dual-helm setups (02.045.05), route a second cable to the secondary station.

Snap on bezel
Insert the controller from the front, push until the snap-on bezel clicks into place. Mounting screws are concealed under the bezel.
5
Test thruster response
Power on the thruster. Verify joystick or joypad direction matches actual thruster response. Test the LED indicator: deployment, operation, low-voltage warning. Fit the removable cover when not in use.
