- Constructed from a special rubber material resistant to salt water and lubricating grease
- Includes an AISI316 stainless steel clamp for secure installation
- Supplied with a specific lubricant tube tailored for shaft line use
- Typically operates underwater with natural water lubrication and cooling
- For above-waterline operation, requires an external water cooling source
- Version A: features a brass hose adaptor for external water lubrication and a greasing aperture with brass cap; if the hose adaptor is unused, a brass closing cap is provided
- Version B: does not include a hose adaptor or greasing aperture
- Complete kit includes the stuffing box, lubricant tube, and detailed instructions
