Installation guide

Confirm engine HP compatibility
Rated for 140-300 HP outboards. Smaller outboards (<140 HP) are over-bracketed and waste budget; larger (>300 HP) exceed structural rating.

Locate the transom mount
Bracket bolts through the transom — locate on a structural area (transom knee, stringer extension). Avoid mounting through unreinforced fibreglass.

Drill and bed bolt holes
Use the supplied stainless bolts. Bed each hole in marine sealant (3M 4200 or A-Tec) to prevent water ingress to transom core.

Mount the engine
Secure the outboard to the bracket using its standard mounting bolts. Torque to engine manufacturer spec — usually 35-50 ft-lb.

Wire control cables
Run throttle/shift cables and battery wiring along the bracket frame. Use protective conduit for wire passes.
