The inner layer is made of polypropylene, which efficiently wicks moisture, and the outer layer is warm merino wool with a touch of polyamide added for increased durability. Merino Extreme is an excellent base layer or mid-layer for changing weather conditions. The high collar keeps your neck warm, and you can cool down by opening the 30 cm long zipper if needed. You can also fold the high collar in two. The front slit is windproof. The extended back hem protects your lower back. Merino Extreme keeps your skin always dry and warm. Moisture is wicked away from the skin, preventing any feeling of coldness even when you stop moving. The natural antibacterial properties of merino wool keep the garment fresh from use to use.
