Set force ratio for your cartridge
Rotate the thumb-wheel to set the leverage: 12:1 for light flexible sealants (silicone, butyl), 18:1 for standard TEC7 hybrid sealants, 25:1 for X-Tack and chemical anchors. Wrong ratio = excessive hand force or uncontrolled flow.

Load the cartridge
Pull the rod back fully. Open the rotatable holder, insert a standard 310 ml cartridge (max Ø 46.2 mm × 216 mm). Cut the cartridge tip at an angle and screw on the nozzle. Push the rod forward until it contacts the piston.

Adjust nozzle angle
Rotate the cartridge holder to angle the nozzle exactly where you need — bead direction, joints in corners, hard-to-reach spots. The holder rotates freely 360°.

Apply the bead
Squeeze the trigger smoothly. Move along the joint at constant speed for an even bead. Release the lock plate at the rear to instantly stop flow — prevents drip when crossing other surfaces.

Hang up between sessions
Use the suspension hook to hang the gun between applications. Keeps the nozzle tip clear of dust and prevents drip onto your work surface.

Clean and store
Wipe the rod clean after each use. Store dry. Cured residue can be removed with TEC7 Cleaner or HP Clean (links in compatible products).
